Because int('oops') raises ValueError, the except block runs and prints 'caught'. The else clause is skipped entirely — it only runs when the try block succeeds. Execution then falls through to the line after the whole try/except/else structure, printing 'end'. This makes the else clause a clear signal: 'do this only on the happy path'.
